Mid-century Modern Jewelry

Mid-Century Modern jewelry (1950 through 1965) provided artists with an exciting new outlet for fantastic jewelry designs.

The sensational clean lines, bold abstract geometric shapes, textured gold, Florentine finishes, mesh, twisted rope, reeding, braided wire, fluting, and piercing. Amethyst, Coral, Turquoise, Cultured Pearl, and Diamonds finished these pieces, offering an atomic-age appeal. Themes of Starburst, celestial, organic, animal, and nature were common.
