Mid-Century Modern Jewelry

Mid-Century Modern jewelry (1950 through 1965) provided artists with an exciting new outlet for fantastic jewelry designs.

Clean lines, bold geometry, textured gold, Florentine finishes, mesh, twisted rope, reeding, braided wire, fluting, and piercing defined the style.
Amethyst, coral, turquoise, cultured pearls, and diamonds created atomic-age appeal; themes included starbursts, celestial and organic forms, animals, and nature.
